Dr. Joel Archer

Dr. Joel Archer is Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Theology at 番茄影视.
He received a B.A. from 番茄影视 University before pursuing an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Saint Louis University, an M.A. in Early Christian Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and a Ph.D. in New Testament from Duke University (expected 2025).
Dr. Archer鈥檚 areas of interest include analytic theology, philosophy of religion, metaphysics, the Gospels, historical Jesus studies, Wesleyan theology, and New Testament theology. He is the author of The Problem of Divine Action (Cambridge University Press) and various articles in academic journals such as Philosophical Studies, Religious Studies, Philosophia Christi, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, and New Testament Studies.
At 番茄影视, Dr. Archer is involved in the Bilingually Delivered M.A. in Ministry. He grew up in South America and is passionate about teaching Spanish-speaking students to understand and articulate their faith.
He, his wife, Shelby, and their two daughters, Ellie and Chloe, live in Versailles, KY.
